Today's "I know thy works winners" are:

"I know thy works" winners are chosen randomly from youth registered in the Z-Generation ministry whose names flash across the gallery screen at the time of the selection.
 
Each person will receive $85 to use any way they want. However, the youth leader must call and claim the prize for their member by the deadline. The deadline to claim the prize for the current prize is Thursday, May 22, 2009.
 
Youth leader's should call 801-0143 for pastor Wright.
 
Youth Leaders: When you call, be sure that all information about the selected youth has been posted on the website, including a photograph, and the your church is current with its fees and registrations otherwise your youth will not be eligible to receive the prize.
 
There is no special time for the "I know thy works"-Prizes. Check messages regularly to see if one of your youth has been selected. (The idea is to check the website frequently)

Subject:Register for VBS by May 25 to get T-Shirts 
Message:
If your church will be participating in the Z-Generation Vacation Bible School  it is extremely important that you go on line and preregister your participants.
 
A T-Shirt is being purchased for all participants as a part of the VBS fee. Each church will have up to 20 T-shirts that will be included with your registration fee. Those shirts will be ordered on May 21st from the names that are registered online.

Subject:Graduates to be honored May 31 
Message:
Z-Generation graduates will be saluted during a special worship on Sunday, May 31, 2009 at the Tabernacle Baptist Church.
 
The program will be televised on KMCT-TV (Cable 3) at 9 p.m. on Sunday, May 31.
 
Graduates will be honored for the accomplishments. There will be a short speech by Sister Stalanda Butcher of Faith Harvest, and presentations will be made to each from their parents and respective churches.
 
The program will begin at 9 a.m. promptly. It will end at about 10:45 a.m. Each graduate should prepare to march in their cap and gown and provide a biography that will be read for the audience and shown on the television screen.
 
The Z-Generation ministry makes available a $1,200 scholarship for all graduates. To be eligible for the "Book Scholarship" a graduate must be a full time college, Techinical School or Community College student in the fall of 2009.  Each graduate will receive a maximum of $150 toward the purchase of a single book each semester four FOUR YEARS.
 
Graduates should present the bill for the book to the Z-Generation ministry in August and January of each year and a reimbursement will follow.
 
Recipients must be from a registered Z-Generation church all fees paid.

Subject:Joint VBS to be June 1-6 
Message:
  The 2009 Joint VBS will be held this year at the Zion Springs Baptist Church from June 1 to June 6.
 
  All participating churches will come to Zion Springs this year. In 2010 we will fellowship with New Tabernacle.
  "Extreme Make-Over for Christ" is the 2009 theme. Music, literature, banners, and literature have been ordered and will be available for participants.

  Each church is asked to pay $300 for help Zion with the cost.
 
  Teachers, drivers and other volunteers from participating churches will all be used, like last year, to help bring this giant fellowship together.
 
  On Friday, June 5 the closing program will be held. On Saturday June 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. the picnic will be held. Each church will help provide the recreation activities and other novelties.
 
  Sister Swan of Zion Springs is serving as the director for this year.
